Auction – Payments and Direct Donations
So I won an auction item. Now what?
Paying for your auction:
To pay for your auction, you need to use our paypal account to make a payment. BUT to prevent any fees from Paypal, you need to send the payment as a gift not as a payment for an auction. To do that – go to Send Money, then choose Personal from the tab in the box, then choose the first option: Gift. That will prevent us from paying the fee from Paypal so we get the whole amount of the donation. SEND ALL PAYPAL DONATIONS TO firstname.lastname@example.org
Paypal doesn’t require an address when you choose to send money as a gift. Please put your mailing address in the paypal order AND email me your address directly so I can record it and make sure you get your items without a delay. After you make your payment, please send me an email at email@example.com so I know for sure I get notification (sometimes paypal emails end up in my junk email folder so this is a precaution)
Payments MUST be received by midnight EST on January 10th. If not, I will be contacting the next highest bidder to sell the item to them. You can pay early, of course.
I will not begin shipping the items until Friday December 31 and after that I will send them out on Fridays until everything has been sent. Keep in mind some of these items are coming directly from people who donated them which may add a little bit of time to their shipping. (Such as Jason Manns’ CDs, Steve Carlson’s CDs, the pic of Jared is coming from Australia, etc etc) Also if you’re outside the US, it will add time to the shipping. If you do not receive your item within 2 weeks of payment, please let me know.
There are three jewelry items that are custom made and those items I will send you the creator of jewelry’s email so you can coordinate with them what you want. They will not begin making the item until the auction has been paid, of course, in case the item isn’t paid for and it has to be made for someone else.
Want to donate additional money or just want to donate money directly?
If you were outbid on another auction and/or you wish to donate directly, you can donate as a gift to the same Paypal account.
Please confirm that you received this email. Let me know if you have any questions.
