In 2010, I collected $2,500 to be donated in Aldis’ name to the LA Mission as a Christmas gift from his fans. The money was raised with an auction that December of TV/Movie memoribilia and music connected to Aldis through his associations on TV shows or from his fans. The LA Mission feeds the homeless on Skid Row. For $2.03, they can provide a hot meal to someone. So our donation in 2010 fed 1231 meals to LA’s homeless.
In early 2012, I did another auction and raised $3,000. Our donation fed 1,477 meals to LA’s homeless.
